The first month of the year is already over, and it’s time for new features! Whether it’s the editor, Connect, or the app, we’ve got a whole host of new additions for you. Some features, like the 360° tour and image editor, have been enhanced with new additions, while others, like the AI furniture scan in the app, are completely new.
Automatically convert your floor plans into 3D models! With Paper2Pixel, you can now upload an image or PDF of a plan – our artificial intelligence will then recognize all the walls, doors, windows, and furniture you’ve drawn and convert your floor plan into a finished digital twin.
You can now also export the first-person view of your 3D model as a PNG or PDF file.
Door and window handles are now not only interchangeable for you in the editor, but also for your prospective customers in the Limited View Link of the 3D model.
For the first time, the editor also offers the option to equip models with curtains. Also new are several armchairs, sofas, beds, and, in particular, showers.
When setting an anchor in the 360° tour to connect panoramas, an anchor can now automatically be set back to the current panorama. This ensures that every panorama is connected and that potential visitors don’t encounter a dead end in the tour from which they can’t navigate back.
Newly integrated into the view for prospective visitors is navigation between the panoramas: In addition to navigating via the anchor points in the floor plan and within the individual panoramas, prospective visitors can also freely select a panorama to view. All panoramas that can be accessed via at least one anchor point in another panorama are displayed here.
We are currently working on improving the design of Connect. New features include a property overview that now boasts quick filters at a glance, a comprehensive filtering option in a drop-down menu, and an improved property search function.
The pop-up for creating a new property listing has also been redesigned for clarity. The rest of the application will be gradually updated to reflect the new design.
The image editor now offers the option to blur individual areas of an image, making them unrecognizable. This is particularly useful for personal items belonging to sellers (such as family photos), but also for removing license plates from outdoor photos.
Furthermore, it’s possible to add shapes like rectangles and ellipses to the image (with and without outlines) to highlight specific features. This can also be helpful outdoors, for example, to mark a unit in an apartment building or a property.
From now on, you can use the app to generate AR objects from your own furniture. Simply take a photo of the desired piece of furniture, and our AI will automatically convert it into a model. You can then overwrite the AI’s estimated dimensions with your actual measurements, and once saved, you can insert your object into your real-world space at any time using our AR function.
Our Connect image editing software is now also available directly on your smartphone via the app. It includes all the features you need, such as cropping, rotating, editing, pixelating/blurring individual image areas, and inserting shapes and text.
