Our Updates in February

Another month packed with new features has come to an end!

Here’s a look at the most important new features in Editor, Connect & App for February! Among other things, you can look forward to replaceable sinks & faucets in the Editor, a completely new view of our digital twins, and our Image2Video feature! We have many exciting new features in store for you this month.

New in the Editor
Trimmed helicopter view, interchangeable faucets & more

Sinks & Faucets
Configurable for potential buyers

Your prospective buyers can now swap out sinks and faucets in limited mode. As part of the optional extras configurator, this, along with door and window handles, is the next step towards offering a more detailed configuration of the digital property.

Floor plan scaling
Even easier with a ruler

Anyone wanting to save a floor plan as a blueprint for later tracing will now find scaling even easier. The new ruler allows you to select a dimension and then enter the exact measurement. This ensures the blueprint is correctly scaled for tracing. Our new ruler replaces the old method of selecting the distance between two points, making scaling even more precise.

Trimmed helicopter view
for a more detailed look at the model

New to both the editor and image export is the half-height trimmed helicopter view. As the name suggests, this cuts off the walls at half their height, allowing for a comprehensive view of the property and its rooms not only from above but also from the side. The traditional option of displaying walls with transparency is still available – so the choice is yours.

Paper2Pixel
now directly in the editor

Our Paper2Pixel feature can now be launched directly from the editor. Simply select your floor plan, upload it, and let our AI trace it. This makes the AI-powered conversion of floor plan files and photos into a digital twin flexible and possible via Connect or the editor.

Open showers
New 3D objects

There are few new 3D objects in February, as we have shifted our focus to other areas. However, we do have new shower trays for open showers, which complement our standard white acrylic shower trays and allow us to also create tiled, walk-in showers.

Stairs
to lower floors

From now on, it’s not only possible to display stairs leading upwards, but also downwards. This brings us a big step closer to being able to represent multiple floors in the digital twin. It’s already possible to fully display the top floor of a multi-story building.

Faster furniture library
for active search & scrolling

Our furniture database has grown enormously in recent months. Therefore, it was time to switch to a faster way of displaying the data. The furniture database looks the same as before; it simply runs much faster in the background – a step we can finally launch after months of preparation.

NeW in Connect

New features for image editor & image2video

Image2Video
takes off

Our new Image2Video feature is finally live in its first version! From now on, you can transform your property photos into moving experiences thanks to AI – choose from two different modes (room tour or property furnishing), format & quality, as well as video duration, and the AI does the rest. More information about this feature will be available soon in a separate news article.

New AI image modes
Clean room & complete construction

There’s also something new for AI image generation, and in fact, it comes in a double feature: The new “Clean Room” mode digitally cleans furnished (and still occupied) properties – debris, trash, visible cleaning products, dishes, jackets on wardrobes, and much more can now all be removed with a single rendering. The “Complete Construction” mode, on the other hand, adds flooring, wall plaster or tiles, and furnishings to unfinished buildings – ideal for your current photos of new construction or for complete renovations, allowing you to start marketing before completion.

Image Editor
New features for images

Our image editor has undergone some significant changes: The general image settings now include tonal correction (highlights, shadows, blacks & whites), as well as correct white balance (color temperature, hue). Furthermore, the general settings now feature a histogram (a valuable addition for real estate photography professionals) and an automatic AI-powered quality enhancement feature that improves small, pixelated images and even corrects image noise/grain.

In the Retouching submenu, you can now brighten specific areas of an image using a brush tool, allowing you to improve even stubborn shadows after tonal correction.

NeW in the App
Improved area selection in scan & more

Select furniture better
thanks to area selection

In the app, we primarily focused on improving furniture selection via AI furniture scanning. The new brush tool allows users to add or remove individual areas to ensure that only the scanned piece of furniture is included in the selection.

AR for entire houses
Placing improvement

Previously, when using our AR function for our prefabricated house models, the models landed directly where the user was standing, meaning the user was surrounded by the house model. With this correction, prefabricated houses will now be positioned 10 meters away from the user’s current location, making it easier to place them on a plot of land.
