Things are really heating up with our hot new update!
Did someone say new features?
Oops, we almost forgot about our August update… Our development team has prepared so many great new features for you:
- In the editor, you’ll now be lightning fast when drawing and editing: new Quick Settings, drawing aids, and shortcuts await you.
- Also new: Hello curved walls! From bay windows to old-world charm – things are really taking off!
- In addition, gardens, front yards, paths, and parking lots now have their own room types.
- Connect, on the other hand, was the focus of EU AI Act: AI tags are now even more flexible.
This and much more awaits you in our hot new update.
New in the Editor
Quick settings, curved walls & more
Quick Settings
Shortcuts, Drawing hints & more
For even faster drawing, the editor now offers a variety of support features:
- Quick Settings adapt to the selected object and display the corresponding settings as tooltips.
- Helpful hints when drawing walls and rooms, such as room size, aid the process. Various shortcuts provide additional assistance – new additions include:
- +/- together with the mouse wheel changes the wall thickness while drawing,
- A & S allows you to switch between wall types while drawing.
Curved walls
now drawable in the editor
Curved walls can now be drawn directly in the floor plan. The wall drawn just now can later be modified to create a curve.
Our biggest challenge: The floor area in square meters is still calculated correctly despite the curved wall.
New room types
for outdoor
Garden, forecourt, parking lot, and path are now separate room types in the editor. This significantly simplifies the design of outdoor areas, as each room type has a standard floor texture integrated.
New real estate info
in the editor and external links
All information stored in Connect for a property is now also transferred to the prospective buyer links of the digital twin. If the fields for balcony, terrace, garden, loggia, storage space, etc., are filled in, a “Yes” for “available” will be visible in the links.
New in Connect
Flexible AI labels & internal CI management tool
AI Labels
Now even more flexible
AI labels, which are mandatory under the EU AI Act for virtual staging and similar applications, can now be created even more flexibly with our software. The automatic AI notification has been replaced by a more comprehensive watermark menu, allowing you to enter free text and define the label’s position.
This makes it even more transparent to specify exactly which image changes were made using AI.
CI Management
in our internal admin settings
While this feature is currently only in internal use, we can now adapt our clients’ corporate identity (CI) even more flexibly and quickly thanks to our new CI management system, accessible via the general settings in Connect. This allows us to easily define our clients’ primary and secondary colors, as well as icons, without having to define them in the code.
This feature is initially for internal use only; therefore, the management of the white-label CI is handled by our Customer Success Team.
Unfortunately, there’s no new information from the app
Look forward to updates in September
…then we will finally launch the Android version of our app live in the Google Play Store.
