Your areas of responsibility

Backend & Web App

  • Take responsibility for the Realitiq Connect platform, including the backend and web frontend.
  • Maintain, improve, and scale the existing system while adding new features.
  • Enjoy significant creative freedom in the architecture and technical direction of the platform.

API Coordination & Development

  • Work closely with the teams of other frontend components (mobile app and 3D editor) to ensure that API endpoints are well-defined, efficient, and customer-centric.
  • Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs that enable seamless communication between components.

Frontend Development & Feature Implementation

  • Maintain and extend a React-based frontend and integrate new features based on user stories and Figma designs.
  • Ensure alignment between the frontend and backend by maintaining API compatibility and implementing necessary adjustments as requirements change.

Required Skills & Technologies

Frontend Skills

Your Must-Haves:

  • React – Expertise in backend development for multiple components
  • TypeScript – Solid knowledge of type-safe development
  • Tailwind CSS – Proficiency in styling with Tailwind for maintainable, responsive UI design

Nice-to-Haves:

TanStack Libraries:

  • TanStack Router – Experience with type-safe client-side routing
  • TanStack Query – Knowledge of advanced data retrieval and caching strategies
  • TanStack Table – Ability to create complex table structures with pagination, sorting, and filtering

Backend Skills

Your Must-Haves:

  • Node.js – Solid experience in backend development with Node.js and related frameworks
  • REST API Design – Ability to design efficient, scalable, and well-documented APIs using Elysia (similar to tRPC)
  • SQL – Experience in relational database design, query optimization, and indexing strategies

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Cloudflare Wrangler – Experience with Cloudflare’s developer tools
  • ORM (Drizzle) – Familiarity with Drizzle ORM for database management
  • Serverless Architectures – Experience with Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda, or similar serverless solutions
  • GitHub Actions – Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for automation and deployment

Soft Skills & Additional Requirements:

  • Collaboration – Ability to collaborate effectively with product and frontend teams to align API and architecture decisions
  • Problem-Solving Skills – Strong troubleshooting skills, especially regarding API compatibility issues, performance bottlenecks, or evolving requirements
  • Attention to detail – Ability to implement designs based on Figma mockups and ensure a seamless user experience
  • Communication skills – Fluent in English (and optionally German) for documentation and team discussions

  • Revolutionary real estate visualization with advanced AI technology and user-friendly applications

The actual salary will be agreed upon based on professional experience and qualifications. The minimum starting salary for this position is €50,000 gross (full-time), depending on qualifications and education.
